Well we have had some weather here ice then snow and more snow. But yesterday and today it will get in the high 40s and the snow is melting. Here are some pixs of the kids playing in the snow Sunday afternoon. Allie really doesn't like the cold and is scared to get in it.

That's Michael he is having fun throwing snow at the dog (not sure who likes it more the dog or Michael) Well for some reason I can't upload any more so I will post more later.

Ohhhhh do I have big news. My husband came to church with me on Sunday and Wed night. He was baptized about 3 1/2 years ago and stopped coming shortly after that. I have been waiting by patiently for him to return and HE HAS!!!! I'm trying not to get my hopes up but this is a really big thing as we all know. I have prayed for so many years that he would return to church. I am trying to take things easy with him and not push him into anything that he is not comfortable with. We usually sit toward the front of the church and when he is with us he's not comfortable up front so we sit toward the back. ( Which might not be so bad that way when the kids misbehave everyone d/n know ) Just kidding the kids are usually pretty good. Everyone keep praying for us and hopefully Joe will continue coming and life will be better. I think life is better when a family goes to church as a whole---same mind--...... Joe is off work he hurt his back redoing our upstairs bathroom. He removed a cast iron tub (by himself) and now he's regretting it. Dr took some X-rays don't know the out come yet so until then he is home with me. They put him on short term disability since he has been off for just over 2 weeks. (He works 3 12 hour shifts over the weekend). It's been awhile since I have posted anything things haven't changed much the boys are done with fall baseball. One of Nathaniels coaches submitted him to be put into an "All Stars Babe Ruth Hall of Fame Book" that is very exciting for Nathaniel. It will be in the Museum where the Babe Ruth players are displayed. Not sure where that is but it is still exciting just the same. My daughter Allie is getting ready to turn 4 on Nov. 1st. WoW!!! She is the youngest. We will have her birthday on the 7th of Nov. Her daddy told her that he was going to draw a life size Dora on her wall and she is very excited about that. I think that will be part of her present redoing her room with Dora the Explorer. Well better go kids will be home from school any time and they are always so hungry .
| Well it has been a long time since I have posted. I finally have a little piece and quiet. We have been very busy. Nathaniel is getting ready to finish up this round of baseball. They have had a very good team this year. I think we will actually win the tourment this go 'round. Nathaniel has really come a long way he is a really good pitcher and hitter. But.....he has a sore loser attitude. The coach benched him for 2 innings for having a bad attitude this last game. We have tried talking to him but it just doesn't seem to work. Maybe coach will have better luck. He loves to play but doesn't love striking out. It's all part of the game. He is going to try out for All-Stars. I think try-outs start next week or the week after. His current coach will be the All-Stars coach. We haven't lost a game yet, but we did tie one.
I also have been working on licensing my childcare....boy oh boy.....has that been fun So many papers and rules. Rules not so much a problem but all the papers to fill out (for my "moms" and myself) I went through a complete ink cartridge just printing off the forms. But I know that it will all pay off in the end.
We bought our fence and started putting it up this week just to be stopped by the neighbor behind us to inform us that half of our property belonged to the town????? I was not very happy. I knew when we bought our corner lot that some of it belonged to the town but not almost 30 feet of it!! Yes, 30 feet!! So we were put on hold until the town meeting this Tues. I had to type up a letter to the board address the situation and asking permission to put up a fence on a yard that I have to MOW. I know....I shouldn't be so upset (that's what my husband says), but it is very upsetting when that is the last thing I had to do before having my licensing consultant come out and approve everything. Hopefully everything will go well Tuesday. I can't wait to be a licensed childcare. I have done childcare since I was pregnant with Michael which is almost 5 years ago. I finally decided why not after all they have a food program for licensed providers.
I'm going on vacation the to Emenience Camp out in 3 weeks!!! I have never been and really looking forward to it. Angel (my aunt) says it is a blast. We are going to camp in our tent. Just the kids and myself, Joe can't come he started a new job and can't take the time off. But I really hope next year he will be able to come. Michael will turn 5 years old at the camp out. I am going to bring a cake/B-day cookie haven't decided, or should I say I haven't asked Michael which one he would like yet. Well I have an early morning and I have already stayed up later than I should have see everyone soon.

| Oh man have I been busy. Today I went to a seminar for Avon in Indianapolis (I sell Avon) it was fantastic!!!! So motivational. I am wanting to make Unit Leader (which means I have to recruit atleast 5 people to sell Avon) within 4 campaigns. I really believe I can do it after hearing this speaker, she also gave us tips on doing this. I already recruited 2 last campaign I have 2 more that are interested, hopefully I can get them signed up. Anyone want to join the Avon experience??? Only $10 to join....check out my Avon web site www.youravon.com/chickman Or to find a representative near you go to www.youravon.com click on find a representative near you on the bottom right hand side. Well enough about that. I was tagged to give my 5 weird habits sooo here are some...
-when I am driving down the road (or riding) I have to count things, anything, light poles, telephone lines, the strips in the middle of the road, etc. I think you get it.
-when I go to bed at night I have this pillow case I have to sleep with. I can't go to sleep without it. It even went to the hospital with me when I had my kids. My husband says this is really childish. Oh well somethings I guess you never really grow out of.
-when I am going somewhere I tend to say things backwards like I will be back in 20 to 15 minutes. Never noticed it till my mom mentioned it. Can't seem to fix it. Don't realize I did it till it's done.
Well that is all I could think of at time last time and since I can't stop yawning I suppose I will go to bed. So good night everyone and see everyone soon.
God Bless You!! | | |

Last night we went to pick up the "old time photos" that we had made of the kids. They turned out good. Aren't the soooo cute. I guess I would think that huh. Today is so slow. I have a daycare and usually there is 6-7 kids here and today there is only 4!!! I'm very glad for the break; next week is spring break for our kids and that means that I will be very busy. Well I'll write more later need to feed the kids so they can jump off the walls some more.
